First Week*

My first week in La Salle was very exciting. Not just I knew more of my new friends, but also learning new things even better in class. I can say for now INTRICT really excites me to pursue studying my course. The computer technology really is my interest. I feel satisfied if I read or knew of something new happening in this world. INTRICT classes make me know more of what the computer world offers today. For the first week I did not expected to learn a lot, but I did.

It all started when Sir. Oli introduced the hidden powers of GOOGLE. I felt very innocent not knowing how great GOOGLE have evolved. Despite the bad interface GOOGLE have it has more efficient features than Yahoo!. GOOGLE features Gmail, groups, Gmail talk, Calendar, Document and even a blog (which is what I am posting on!); there might be more though. Well, what I have indicated are features that can help us through our work load.



Gmail, a simple e-mailer if you would look at it in a bird's eye-view, but once you look in it a bunch full of productive features and settings will make your e-mailing experience a breeze. No more hard to find e-mails through the search and tags feature GOOGLE added. Another great product GOOGLE have is the GOOGLE Calendar amazing I can say. A really helpful one! No more missed meetings and appointments! It is like your personal assistant that you create! If I just knew about this before I would have not crammed with all the projects and practices we have in High school. (Too bad!)

Google as we can see have a lot more to offer. The customizable homepage can really be useful. You can add a lot of extras in it from news (which is by the way current Philippine news and not other country's news.) to an puzzle games. Other sites also provide useful products, an example can be flicker and the likes. Photo's can now be stored online, which means pictures won't eat up much space in our pc's. Personally I 'am able to use a lot of productive sites online from time to time. You just need to dig up these sites.
